Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Mercy Health System. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, culturally sensitive, and holistic nursing care to patients in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nursing process to develop and implement individualized patient plans of care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques and policies.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
  • Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities and shared governance.
  • Utilize clinical expertise to support other units and departments in patient care.
  • Escalate patient safety and experience concerns to the appropriate chain of command.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • BSN or agreement to complete a BSN completion program within a specified timeframe.
  • Licensed as an RN in the state of practice.
  • Approved CPR certification within 90 days.
  • 10 hours of continued education.
Physical Demands

The physical demands of this position include:

  • Regularly required to talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or smell.
  • Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
