ReqOverflow is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at Big Bend Regional Medical Center in Alpine, TX.
Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Labor and Delivery Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our 25-bed Critical Access Hospital with a Level 4 Trauma Designation.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized care to patients in the Labor and Delivery department
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to emergencies
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas
- BLS, ALS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- 1-2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery or related field
- Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts and weekends
