Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Highland House Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• Wash and sanitize cooking utensils, pots, pans, and trays, and polish silverware to the highest standards.

• Segregate and remove trash, and place it in designated containers to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

• Sweep and mop floors, wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and all other surface areas to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.

• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, and restock tools and supplies for the next shift to maintain efficiency and productivity.

• Maintain temperature logs and keep the walk-in cooler/freezer organized to ensure food safety and quality.

• Assist cooks in properly prepping, storing, and dating food to maintain high standards of food safety and quality.

Requirements:

• Previous knowledge of food service regulations is preferred, but not required.

• Skilled with the use of hand tools or machines needed for the position.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy.

• Able to stand for extended periods of time and prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
