About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Landscaper to join our team at BrightView. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep of our plant material and maintaining the aesthetic appeal of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Turf Care: Cut turf, trim and edge along borders, and blow using power equipment to maintain a well-manicured lawn.
  • Pruning and Planting: Prune shrubs and low trees to improve the growth habit or remove damaged branches, and plant and maintain flower beds, applying mulch as needed.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Pick up trash and debris, and perform weeding by hand or using a garden hoe or hula hoe to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
  • Quality Control: Ensure the upkeep of plant material, including inspecting and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance.
  • Skillset: Ability to operate power equipment, knowledge of pruning and planting techniques, and physical stamina to perform manual labor.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license and any relevant certifications or licenses required by law.
