About the Position

We are looking for a skilled Building Operations Specialist to manage our residential portfolio of co-ops and condos in New York City.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of building systems, construction, and NY housing laws and codes.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful property management, excellent communication and organizational skills, and experience working with union contracts and applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a residential portfolio of co-ops and condos in New York City
  • Oversight of building staff, including hiring, training, and termination
  • Communication with board members, residents, attorneys, architects, engineers, and building staff
  • Ensure compliance with NYC regulations and handle violations and administrative hearings as needed
  • Supervise capital projects and repairs, and work with purchasing to procure goods and services
