Position Overview:

The University of Texas at Dallas is seeking qualified individuals to serve as part-time lecturers in the field of Communication. This role involves teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses during the academic year. Please note that these appointments do not guarantee renewal or tenure.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must possess an earned graduate degree relevant to the discipline, along with a demonstrated record of professional accomplishments.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Master's degree in a Communications-related field is essential. Preference will be given to candidates with two years of teaching experience at the college level in a comparable institution. Experience in delivering online communication courses is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and deliver engaging lectures and laboratory sessions for undergraduate students.
  • Maintain effective communication with students through classroom interactions and digital learning platforms.
  • Provide assessment data and feedback as requested by the administration and the Assessment Team.
  • Participate in course evaluation processes to enhance educational quality.
