Tennessee Oncology, a leading cancer care specialist, is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team.

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Director of Imaging, the CT Technologist is responsible for operating a CT scanner to perform diagnostic CT exams according to physician orders and radiologist guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CT cross-sectional anatomy, positioning, radiographic techniques, and radiation protection concepts.
  • Administer IV catheters, oral and intravenous contrast material when necessary.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and display appropriate behavior.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with Tennessee Oncology Policies and Procedures Manual and supplemental procedures established for its Imaging Centers.
  • Order supplies and maintain inventory.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited or registered school of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT certification in Computerized Tomography preferred.
  • Minimum one-year CT experience.
  • Current Certification in Basic Life Support.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment assisted up to 50 lbs.
