Job Summary

Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center is a premier meetings and resort destination that offers a unique experience for groups of all sizes. As a Banquet Houseperson, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our events by providing exceptional service and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review event orders and assignment sheets to determine function requirements
  • Ensure all cleaning duties are completed, including doors, door frames, walls, and air walls
  • Conduct thorough cleaning inspections of meeting rooms and assigned areas
  • Maintain cleanliness standards and excellent condition of equipment and surrounding work areas
  • Communicate promptly with guests and colleagues regarding requests and changes
  • Assure inventory is kept and report any losses to supervisors or managers
  • Report guest request changes to the Banquet Manager or Conference Coordinators
  • Ensure all equipment is kept in clean working condition

Requirements

  • Exceptional guest service skills
  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 100 pounds repetitively during the entire shift
  • Ability to push, pull, or otherwise move portable table/chair cart units from storage to function rooms
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for long periods
