Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center is a premier meetings and resort destination that offers a unique experience for groups of all sizes. As a Banquet Houseperson, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our events by providing exceptional service and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Review event orders and assignment sheets to determine function requirements
- Ensure all cleaning duties are completed, including doors, door frames, walls, and air walls
- Conduct thorough cleaning inspections of meeting rooms and assigned areas
- Maintain cleanliness standards and excellent condition of equipment and surrounding work areas
- Communicate promptly with guests and colleagues regarding requests and changes
- Assure inventory is kept and report any losses to supervisors or managers
- Report guest request changes to the Banquet Manager or Conference Coordinators
- Ensure all equipment is kept in clean working condition
Requirements
- Exceptional guest service skills
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 100 pounds repetitively during the entire shift
- Ability to push, pull, or otherwise move portable table/chair cart units from storage to function rooms
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods
