Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Urology Physician to join our team on a temporary basis. As a locum tenens urologist, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical settings, providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Job Responsibilities

As a Urology Physician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating urological disorders, including urinary tract infections, kidney stones, and prostate issues. You will perform various surgical interventions, such as cystoscopies, nephrectomies, and prostatectomies, and provide consultation services to other members of the medical team. You will also be responsible for providing patient education and maintaining accurate medical records.

Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school, as well as residency training in urology accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). You must also be board certified in urology by the American Board of Urology (ABU) or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS), and have an active and unrestricted medical license in Georgia. A minimum of one year of experience providing care in a clinical setting is preferred.
