As a Registered Nurse on our Neurosciences team, you will be responsible for:
- Assessing patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status
- Performing procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider
- Documenting the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner
- Performing the administration of prescribed medications and monitoring response
- Maintaining a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- One year of hospital nursing experience (preferred)
Mission Hospital is a Level II trauma center and the region's only children's hospital, providing 30 pediatric sub-specialists.
