Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at KWIK FILL. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of our convenience store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Assist in managing daily store activities to drive sales performance, including supervising employees, maintaining store appearance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Employee Development: Assist in training and motivating store personnel to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service and meet sales goals.
  • Cash Handling and Inventory Management: Manage cash and inventory during the Store Manager's absence, and ensure accurate accounting of all transactions.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, suggesting merchandise, and resolving customer complaints.
  • Merchandise Management: Price, stock, and face merchandise, including gondolas, shelving, counters, walk-in coolers, upright coolers, and backroom storage areas.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain the store in accordance with maintenance policies and conform to any required Health Department rules and regulations.
  • Security and Safety: Enforce all security and safety policies and procedures, including monitoring store security systems and responding to emergencies.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience: Prior convenience store experience is helpful but not required.
  • Skills: Ability to multi-task, organizational and communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
