Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse / LPN to join our team as a Charge Nurse. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading by example, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide quality nursing care to patients, including assessing residents, making daily rounds, and delegating work assignments.
- Assist unit managers and charge nurses in evaluating overall performance and completing evaluation summaries.
- Delegate work assignments, instruct coworkers, make recommendations, and perform needed treatments on patients.
- Maintain open communication with staff, residents, and families to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Assist with scheduling, budgeting, and staff evaluation processes.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and teamwork.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse / LPN in the state of Tennessee.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
