Job Responsibilities

We are recruiting for a Senior Policy Consultant who will support the critical functions for mission clients in the Intelligence Community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay up-to-date with IC and DoD data and related strategies, business goals, objectives, and performance targets, and make recommendations to keep the Sponsor's strategy aligned accordingly.
  • Craft strategies and develop implementation plans and key performance indicators.
  • Engage with stakeholders.
  • Assist government clients with programmatic goals and objectives, schedules, and reports to high-level government officials.
  • Communicate technical topics to non-technical senior audiences.
  • Portfolio Management - Monitor and analyze portfolio data and present findings and recommendations to aid Sponsor decision-making, to include proposed strategies and/or roadmaps; identified risks, gaps, and dependencies; alignment with the strategic framework and priorities; and funding and related program issues.
  • Performance Management – ensure the strategy is effectively and efficiently pursued, using best practices and benchmarking in business and mission analytics.
  • Review and evaluate existing IC policy, identify gaps.

Required Qualifications

Key Qualifications:

  • Draft products that reflect strong writing and grammatical skills.
  • Detail-oriented; able to consistently deliver high-quality products in a timely fashion.
  • Experience writing policy.
  • Skill in developing collaborative information and knowledge sharing networks and builds alliances with colleagues and counterparts within area of expertise.
  • Work with seniors in a diverse, fast-paced, multi-task environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.

  • Bachelor's degree with 4 or more years of relevant experience.
