Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team at U.S. Army Cyber Command. As a key member of our Cyber Security Division, you will play a critical role in defining and disseminating the Cyber Security mission of the command.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and control assigned Information Technology (IT) programs in the brigade with emphasis on Cyber Security.
  • Manage, operate, and monitor Cyber Security support provided to the 93D Signal Brigade geographical area of operations.
  • Evaluate the security impact of system changes and conduct reviews of threats or vulnerabilities in the network.
  • Provide authoritative advice or guidance on Cyber Security issues and recommend new approaches to delivering Cyber-related infrastructure services.
Requirements
  • One year of specialized experience in Cyber Security, including conduct risk assessments, evaluating security impact, and conducting reviews of threats or vulnerabilities.
  • GG-11: One year of specialized experience in IT, including conduct risk assessments, evaluating security impact, and conducting reviews of threats or vulnerabilities.
  • GG-12: One year of specialized experience in Cyber Security, including analyzing, assessing, and documenting Cyber Security capabilities and services.
  • GG-13: One year of specialized experience in Cyber Security, including working with computer networking concepts, protocols, and network security methodologies.
Conditions of Employment
  • Must obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, T3, non-critical.
  • May be required to travel temporary duty (TDY), up to 35% of the time.
  • This position requires an Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level II certification within 6-months of hire.
