**Job Overview:**

  At Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services, we are dedicated to providing a rewarding and challenging environment for our nursing staff.

  As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the best possible patient care and supervising the nursing team during your shift.

  We are seeking an experienced and skilled nurse leader to join our team on a part-time basis, working weekends.

**Estimated Salary:** $60,000 - $80,000 per year (based on location and experience)

**Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct the nursing staff during shifts to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Assist the Director of Nursing in directing, coordinating, and supervising the Nursing Services Department.
  • Oversee nursing services during shifts in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act, facility policies, and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to nurses during acute episodes.
  • Address employee issues in a timely manner and document actions taken.
  • Assume on-call responsibilities as required.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Registered Nurse degree from an accredited School of Nursing. Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing and submit proof of license renewal every other year.
  • Ability to provide quality nursing care, follow doctor orders, and demonstrate a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
  • CPR certification is required yearly.
  • Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as necessary.
  • Capacity to supervise nursing staff, ensuring work assignments are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Familiarity with personnel, department, and facility policies and procedures, as well as adherence to local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Long-term care experience is preferred.
