The Learning and Development Leader for Tax and Assurance will have the flexibility to work in a hybrid model from any of our office locations or remotely within the United States.

In this pivotal role, the Learning and Development Leader for Tax and Assurance will be tasked with nurturing a culture of continuous learning and development within our service lines while establishing robust relationships with stakeholders. You will collaborate with subject matter experts to design, develop, and implement engaging and innovative learning solutions that address business requirements. By working closely with these experts, you will cultivate and maintain influential partnerships across the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with service line leadership to comprehend strategic goals and align learning initiatives accordingly. Provide consultative support to service line leadership on matters related to learning and development. Conduct needs assessments to create learning experiences that fulfill specific educational objectives and accreditation standards. Recommend suitable instructional methods based on audience needs and logistical considerations. Establish and uphold instructional design standards, refresh visual components, and explore enhancements to increase interactivity in learning experiences that facilitate knowledge retention. Uphold integrity and communicate effectively with subject matter experts to ensure all products offering CPE credits comply with NASBA design standards and reporting requirements. Maintain organized project documentation and repositories for all course materials. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to introduce innovative approaches to courseware and overall services. Research and adopt new delivery technologies that enhance learner engagement and effectiveness. Strive for continuous improvement in operations, reduce turnaround times, streamline processes, and work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver high-quality client service. Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion. Gather and analyze data on learning outcomes to demonstrate the effectiveness of learning solutions within the organization.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or a related field. Several years of experience in learning and development, ideally within the tax and assurance sector. Proficient understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories, including ADDIE. Awareness of trends and best practices in the tax and assurance industry. Strong project management capabilities with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Capacity to build solid relationships with stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Willingness to travel as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven verbal and written communication skills with all organizational levels and key stakeholders. Prior experience in performance management and team leadership is preferred. Familiarity with MS Office suite. Proficiency in various learning technologies, including Camtasia, SnagIt, Articulate, Vyond, and Conferences i/o. Significant experience with Learning Management Systems and Virtual Classroom tools. Facilitation experience. CPA license is preferred and adherence to the educational requirements of relevant regulatory bodies is expected.
