Job Title: Travel Nurse RN ICU Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Nurse RN ICU Specialist to join our team at Focus Staff. As a Travel Nurse RN ICU Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment.

Job Summary:

The Travel Nurse RN ICU Specialist will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the ICU setting. This includes developing and implementing individualized care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the physician
  • Provide education to patients and families on disease management and self-care
Requirements:
  • Current State License
  • Minimum of one-year experience in Critical Care in an acute care hospital within the last three years required
  • Completion of AHA ACLS Provider Course within 12 months of employment required
  • CCRN preferred
  • Experience with high acuity CCU/ICU/ER medical/surgical patients is preferred
  • Associate's Degree or BSN required
