Physician - Neurology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurologist to join our team at the VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a Neurologist, you will provide comprehensive general neurologic outpatient consultation and follow-up care to our patients. You will work collaboratively with primary care providers and other specialty providers to ensure coordination of care.
Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive general neurologic outpatient consultation and follow-up care to patients
• Incorporate results of ordered studies into the diagnostic and treatment plan for patients
• Work collaboratively with primary care providers and other specialty providers to ensure coordination of care
• Participate in Process Improvement/Quality Assurance projects and other administrative duties as assigned
• Demonstrate ethical conduct and serve as a positive role model to others at all levels of the organization
Requirements
• United States Citizenship
• Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine
• Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia
• Residency Training: Physicians must have completed residency training, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
Preferred Experience
Board eligible or Board certified in Neurology preferred
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30pm
