Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Endoscopy Technician to join our team at Los Gatos Surgical. As a key member of our endoscopy department, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and observation in an ambulatory setting, while also acting as a preceptor for other Endoscopy Technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with endoscopy scheduling and coordination
  • Demonstrate knowledge of instrument maintenance, cleanliness, and sterilization
  • Maintain a sanitary environment for patient care
  • Prepare the endoscopy unit and ensure availability of necessary GI equipment and supplies
  • Assist physicians with interventions as indicated
  • Clean GI treatment rooms between procedures and prepare rooms for the next case
  • Demonstrate aseptic techniques
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred
  • 2 years' experience in an acute setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center
  • Current license information on application
  • Endoscopy Reprocessing Certification
  • Valid BCLS Certification upon employment
