We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Heart Hospital of Austin. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments, develop individualized plans of care, and implement and evaluate care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Formulate and revise plans of care based on patient response to treatment, ensuring effective and efficient care delivery.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, physicians, and patients to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Monitor hemodynamic status, identify dysrhythmias, and treat accordingly based on established protocols.
- Supervise and coordinate patient care as needed, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Able to recognize cardiac rhythms – preferred
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – preferred
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required as per St. David's Healthcare policy
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification – required within 90 days of hire
