We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) team at Holy Cross Health. As a Registered Nurse in our SICU, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Plan and manage the care of routine patients, including assessing their needs and developing individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse.
- BLS certification (American Heart Association); additional Life Support training as applicable to unit requirements.
- Preferred: Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree (BSN or MSN) preferred.
- 1 year of experience in an acute care setting.
- Competitive pay: Bonus eligible position ($15K PT, $30K FT experienced RN's only)
