A. O. Smith is seeking a highly skilled EHSS Coordinator to provide support in all Environmental Health Safety & Security functions and coordinate plant-wide safety and environmental efforts and compliance.

• EHSS Program Implementation: Assist management with preparing annual plant budget for EHSS, represent facility on Global EHSS Council, and perform safety training sessions and hold toolbox talks with plant operators.
• EHSS Systems Administration: Manage EHSS through ISO-based management platform and reporting tools, perform routine tasks such as project safety plans, job hazard analyses, incident investigations, workplace observations, and ensure safety equipment is maintained.
• Reporting and Compliance: Report safety performance to Corporate EHSS Director and plant management, and assist with Company-wide programs such as drug testing and safety awards.

• Education: Bachelor's in Occupational Health & Safety/EHS related field.
• Experience: 2+ years related experience.
• Certifications: ASP (Associate Safety Professional) or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) preferred.
• Skills: Good general problem-solving skills, knowledge and current understanding of all applicable regulations, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, effective written & verbal communication, and moderate project management skills.
