Washware Specialist Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Washware Specialist to join our team at Rusty Pelican. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our fast-paced dining environment. This physically demanding role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic setting.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring the efficient operation of the dishwashing machine, including loading and unloading dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other equipment.
  • Resolving issues with the dishwashing machine and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Organizing and sorting dishes and utensils to ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing all equipment, surfaces, and utensils to meet health and safety regulations.
  • Supporting kitchen staff during peak periods.

Desired Qualifications: 1+ year experience in dishwashing or a related field. Compensation: $18-$20 per hour.
