The position involves practicing medicine within the authority and privileges granted by Moffitt Cancer Center, providing patient care while being an integral part of the academic medical community.
As a member of the Moffitt Medical Group, the individual will contribute to patient care and support the institutional mission of advancing cancer prevention and treatment through clinical practice, research, and education.
The Chief will determine the allocation of the position's responsibilities among clinical, research, educational, and administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
Education and Licensure:
- MD or equivalent degree
- Board certified (or eligible) in Hematology/Oncology
- Successful completion of an accredited Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology
- Florida Medical License
- DEA License
- ACLS certification as required by medical staff privileges
