About the Position
Source Medical, LLC is seeking a full-time Physician to support our OB/GYN practice in Connecticut. The ideal candidate will have experience in obstetrics and gynecology, women's health, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and compile patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination.
- Order or perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, and basic wound care.
- Instruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.
Requirements
- Experience in OB/GYN or women's health.
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board certified or board eligible.
- Connecticut license.
- Federal and state-controlled substance licenses.
- BLS certification.
- Eligible for hospital privileges.
- Effective communication (verbal and written), listening, and customer service skills.
