Role Overview:
This position involves supporting operations across various geographic areas of responsibility, including U.S. European Command, U.S. Central Command, and U.S. India Pacific Command, in alignment with the missions of the Department of State and other defense entities.
Security Clearance:
Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Eligibility is required.
Travel Requirements:
Willingness to travel up to 50% is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide 24/7 on-call Tier 2 system support for remote users, addressing hardware, software, and communication issues.
2. Respond to system outages to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
3. Assist in the installation, maintenance, and support of foreign partner systems and networks.
4. Participate in Emergency On-Site Sustainment (EOSS) travel as necessary.
5. Manage system component failures or change requests, planning for implementation.
6. Develop and conduct training for existing and new users.
7. Perform on-site sustainment tasks, including system operational checks and updates.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2. Minimum of three years of systems administration experience with Windows and Linux.
3. Proficient in Server Operating Systems and Cisco networking protocols.
4. Familiarity with VoIP systems, Risk Management Framework standards, and Network Encryption Devices.
5. Knowledge of virtualization technologies and Microsoft Active Directory.
Additional Requirements:
1. Must maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
2. DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification is required.
3. Flexibility to work non-standard hours as needed.
