Job Summary:

LVI Associates seeks a skilled Control Systems Specialist to design, implement, and commission control systems that meet or exceed compliance, quality, and technical performance standards. This role involves providing expert troubleshooting and problem resolution across various industrial control platforms, managing assigned projects and service calls, and ensuring all work is conducted safely and adheres to relevant safety standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implementation: Develop and implement control systems that meet client requirements while ensuring compliance, quality, and technical performance standards.
  • Onsite Troubleshooting: Provide expert troubleshooting and problem resolution across a variety of industrial control platforms at customer sites.
  • Client Communication: Manage assigned projects and service calls by maintaining clear communication with clients, addressing issues proactively, and delivering timely feedback.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is conducted safely and adheres to relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • On-Call Support: Participate in rotational on-call duties to address client emergencies and minimize downtime.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong expertise in PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, AC/DC drives, and motion control systems, with the ability to configure and program these technologies.

  • Meeting or exceeding utilization targets

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in control systems troubleshooting, automation equipment installation, and related engineering tasks
