Job Title: Asst. or Assoc. Prof, Coastal Geology, Geophysics, or Geodesy

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as an Assistant or Associate Professor in Coastal Geology, Geophysics, or Geodesy. The successful candidate will have a strong research background and a passion for teaching and mentoring students.

About the Position

This is a full-time, tenure-track position that will involve teaching, research, and service. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in their area of expertise, as well as contribute to the development of new programs and initiatives.

Research Opportunities

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of research groups and facilities, including the Baruch Marine Field Laboratory and the Center for Elemental Mass Spectrometry. They will also have access to a range of analytical facilities, including Stable Isotope Laboratories and Radioisotope & Marine Sediments Laboratory.

Requirements

A Ph.D. in Coastal Geology, Geophysics, or Geodesy is required at the time of appointment. The successful candidate will also be expected to have a strong research background and a passion for teaching and mentoring students.
