We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant I to join our team at Atlantic Health System. As a Nursing Assistant I, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Support nursing personnel in providing direct patient care and assist patients with daily activities.
- Serve and collect food trays and provide between-meal nourishment.
- Change bed linen, run errands, and prepare and sterilize treatment trays and supplies.
- Transport patients within the facility for consultations, treatments, tests, or examinations.
- Measure and record patients' vital signs such as temperature or pulse and provide basic treatment.
- Ensure a safe care environment for the patients and their families.
- Perform continuous rounds and check-ins throughout the shift to ensure patient and family needs are met.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 0-3 years of experience as a Nursing Assistant, in Patient Care or other related field with demonstrated increased responsibility in the healthcare industry.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certifications required.
- CPR Certification preferred.
