We are seeking a skilled Van Driver to join our team at the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington. As a Van Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's transportation services.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests with a warm and welcoming smile, providing exceptional customer service from the moment they arrive.
  • Operate our company van safely and efficiently, navigating through public areas and guest room corridors to transport guests and their luggage.
  • Retrieve guest items from cars, buses, vans, and carts, and load them onto a bell cart for transportation to designated rooms.
  • Read and match luggage tags, write claim tickets, and detach the portion to give to guests.
  • Organize and store luggage as necessary in a designated area.
  • Drive guests to approved destinations in the company van and perform other driving errands as assigned.
  • Deliver gifts and amenities to guest rooms and deliver guest's valet laundry to guest rooms.
  • Direct guest flow through the hotel, providing assistance and direction to various areas.
  • Listen and respond to guest inquiries, answering questions and offering assistance with accurate information.
  • Monitor company van maintenance requirements and communicate needs to management.
Requirements:
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally in English.
  • Ability to read English language sufficiently to ascertain information from luggage tags and claim checks.
  • Ability to grasp, lift, and carry or otherwise move packages and boxes and luggage up to 45 lbs continuously throughout the shift.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit and continuously perform essential job functions.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
