This role involves designing architectural projects, consulting with clients, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You'll coordinate overall design activities from concept to completion, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and produce high-quality designs aligned with the firm's vision and client goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal and external design teams to develop and deliver projects according to client specifications and firm standards.
  • Partner with the design technology team to create and implement company-wide CIM standards, ensuring consistency and quality across projects.
  • Perform independent planning and design tasks, review team member work, and prepare detailed construction documents for project success.
  • Apply knowledge of codes, standards, and best practices relevant to complex architectural projects, ensuring compliance and technical accuracy.
  • Maintain strong inter-departmental relationships with project team members to promote effective communication and project coordination.
  • Conduct final Quality Assurance /Quality Control reviews of all project deliverables before submission to clients or release for bidding and construction, ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Assist project managers in preparing technical proposals, scope definitions, and labor hour estimates, contributing to accurate project planning.
  • Work closely with clients, project managers, and technical teams to communicate project scope, deliverables, and expectations, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with client objectives.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to architectural associates and interns, helping them develop technical skills, design intuition, and professional growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Architecture (5-year program) or Master of Architecture (6-year program) from a NAAB-accredited institution required.
  • Minimum 3 years in architecture drafting and design experience.
  • Registered Architect (RA) with NCARB certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to work independently and as part of a project team, with leadership skills promoting collaboration and project success.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with proven ability to prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and meet project deadlines.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
