  1. Cost Assessment:
    • Generate detailed and precise cost assessments for construction projects.
    • Examine architectural plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to formulate time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
    • Conduct site evaluations to collect data on required materials, labor needs, and other project-specific elements.
  2. Software Application:
    • Employ ProEst software for the preparation of estimates and to manage databases.
    • Ensure that all project estimates are accurately recorded in the ProEst system.
    • Regularly update and maintain cost databases within the software.
  3. Proposal Development:
    • Draft and submit bid proposals for construction projects.
    • Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather and assess quotes.
    • Review and finalize project budgets and proposals with senior management.
  4. Project Collaboration:

    • Assist in the formulation and management of project timelines and schedules.

Qualifications

  • Software Proficiency: Proven experience with ProEst software is essential.
  • Technical Skills: A solid understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and cost estimation principles.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and mathematical abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Capability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Certification: Professional certifications such as Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or similar qualifications are advantageous.
