Deaconess Health System is currently seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist Assistant to join their team at Deaconess Midtown Hospital, Deaconess Gateway Hospital and the Procedure Center. As an employee, you will enjoy a competitive compensation package including a salary of around $140,000 per year, plus benefits. The ideal candidate will be certified by the NBCRNA and hold an active Indiana license; Kentucky license also preferred. A minimum of 126 shifts per contract year are required for this position, with 10 weeks' vacation time available. In addition to a generous salary, Deaconess Health System offers a fully implemented electronic medical record (EMR) system integrated with their health system.
About the PositionThe successful candidate will work under the direction of the operating physician on the floors and in the procedure center, utilizing a care team model in the ORs. This opportunity requires 1-3 years of experience as an Anesthesiologist Assistant, although it's not mandatory. You will be responsible for working 5 out of 6 weekends, with the option to pick up additional shifts throughout the week if desired. The caseload will consist of general, orthopedic, neurologic, urologic, vascular, cardiac, OB/GYN, basic pediatric cases, and regionals.
