We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Freelance Makeup Artist to join our team at Dr Jart in Palo Alto, CA.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading prestige beauty company, providing a personalized and inspirational in-store experience for our customers. As a Freelance Makeup Artist, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere, educating and delighting our customers with your expertise and passion for makeup.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and create a personalized experience for each customer
  • Combine your creative and technical expertise to deliver high-quality makeup applications and consultations
  • Work collaboratively with the store team to achieve sales targets and maintain a high level of visual merchandising
  • Participate in in-store events and promotions to drive sales and engagement
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date with the latest makeup trends and techniques
Requirements:
  • Qualification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience
  • Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events
  • Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
  • Ability to provide proof of right to live and work in the country
