Job Title: PACU Registered Nurse

Host Healthcare is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) nurse in Hailey, Idaho.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced RN to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced PACU environment. As a PACU nurse, you will be responsible for assessing and managing patients who have undergone surgical procedures, providing emotional support and education to patients and families, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage patients in the PACU, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and providing wound care.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and families, addressing their concerns and answering questions.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current RN license in the state of Idaho.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a PACU or similar setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
