Salary and Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $25-$35 per hour, depending on the county and volume of work. With a flat rate per inspection, you can earn up to $500 per month or more in lower-volume counties.

Job Description

As a Residential Occupancy Verification Specialist, you will be responsible for performing exterior-only property inspections, verifying occupancy, and reporting general property conditions using a mobile application.

You will need to complete inspections within 4 days of assignment and take high-quality photos with brief comments. The typical inspection should take around 5-6 minutes, and you will be required to spend extended periods driving and making stops during the day.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A computer with an internet connection
  • A reliable vehicle with good gas mileage
  • A smartphone (Android or iPhone)
  • A printer
  • The ability to pass a standard background check using a valid driver's license
Benefits and Opportunities

This is a 1099 position, offering flexibility and independence. As you become established, you can earn more by increasing your availability to inspect or covering a larger territory. There are no additional mileage reimbursements above the flat fee per inspection.
