About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Catholic Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Chart preparation and pre-loading of new patient charts
  • Pre-visit planning, ensuring all necessary information is ready and available for providers
  • Assisting the care team with patient examinations and procedures, including immunizations and ear lavage
  • Working with pharmacy on prescription authorizations and refills
  • Supplies management, including ordering, inventory, and stocking
  • Monthly medication room checks and equipment checks
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an approved Medical Assistant program
  • CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) certification highly preferred
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Comfortable giving immunizations to pediatric patients, including those as young as infancy
  • 1+ year of experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient setting preferred
