Compensation
Minimum: USD $20.00/Hr.
Maximum: USD $45.00/Hr.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver unparalleled technical expertise, quality, and value to our clientele.
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems for commercial clients.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems.
- Travel to various job sites and coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely service delivery.
- Be available for night and weekend shifts on a rotating schedule to address emergency service requests.
- Ensure the company vehicle, tools, and equipment are well-maintained.
- Keep an inventory of parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
- Document service details and parts used electronically via iPad applications.
- Identify diverse service challenges, procure necessary replacement parts, calibrate systems according to manufacturer specifications, and articulate the importance of recommended solutions.
- Engage in training opportunities provided by the company.
- Recognize and report potential opportunities for additional business, including new units, system maintenance contracts, and extra services.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an HVAC/R Technician.
- Must reside within a reasonable distance from the job location.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- EPA Certification is required.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and work plans.
- Knowledge of advanced principles in air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency for communication and documentation using iPad and mobile devices.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as necessary.
