About the Job

We're seeking a strategic and people-focused Business Intelligence Manager to lead our data reporting team, ensuring stakeholders can access accurate and actionable data that drives business decisions. Reporting to the Head of Technology, you'll oversee team development, manage HR responsibilities, guide roadmap planning, and build stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor a team of three, fostering their growth and navigating challenges in alignment with team goals, own HR responsibilities, including hiring, performance reviews, and skill development.
  • Roadmap and Planning: Lead roadmap planning and prioritization of high-impact projects, working closely with stakeholders to align project goals and strategic priorities.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: As the primary liaison with other departments, managing communication and relationship-building to gather reporting requirements and align on strategic insights.
  • Architecture and Security Ownership: Oversee the architecture of the team's tech stack, ensuring security, scalability, and alignment with data governance standards.
  • Ensure processes and technology comply with data governance and data security regulations and policies.
  • Facilitate adherence to data integrity practices guided by overall cyber security standards.
  • Pipeline Management: Ensure efficient data pipelines for seamless data flow from various sources to data stores available to analysts.
  • Team Culture and Processes: Cultivate a collaborative, inclusive team environment. Establish and refine team processes, improving efficiency and creating clear paths for communication and feedback.
  • Budgeting and Metrics: Manage the team's budget and resource allocation and take ownership of reporting key team metrics to leadership.
