About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team at the Ray Mine, located 64 miles southeast of Phoenix and 70 miles northeast of Tucson. As a Laborer, you will play a critical role in the cathode harvest process, performing various essential functions including Forklift Operator, Bar Puller, Scaler/Bander, Loader, Commercial Utility, and Commercial Utility Nightshift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate forklifts to transport calibration blocks, cathode bundles, and other materials.
  • Assist in bar pulling, scaling, and bundling cathodes.
  • Load cathode bundles onto trucks and ensure proper placement.
  • Perform pre-op inspections of forklifts and equipment.
  • Collaborate with crane operators to lower cathodes into cells and assist with starter sheet replacement.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One to three months of related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and calculate figures.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
  • Heavy lifting (50-100 lbs) and ability to climb on and off forklifts and commercial cells.
  • Work in hot summer and cold winter conditions.
  • Extensive walking, standing, crouching, and reaching required.
