Exceptional Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist to join our team at Trinity Health.
As a Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in the surgical team, assisting nursing staff in providing safe and efficient care to patients in the open-heart setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing assistance to surgeons and residents by selecting, organizing, anticipating, and passing surgical instruments, medical supplies, equipment, and retracting under the direction of the surgeon.
- Maintaining the highest standards of aseptic technique during all operative procedures, including surgical attire, hand scrub, gowning, gloving, and boundary management.
- Identifying breaches in aseptic technique and implementing interventions for resolution.
- Performing all phases of reprocessing, including decontamination, tray assembly, sterilization, documentation, and problem resolution for parameter failure.
We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Minimum completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
- Certification or re-certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within one month of hire
- NBSTA Surgical Technologist certification within 1 year of hire
- Familiarity with standard desktop and windows-based computer systems, including email, e-learning, intranet, and computer navigation
Our ideal candidate will have at least one year of inpatient Surgical Technologist experience, with a preference for those with Cardiovascular Services experience or open-heart surgery experience.
