We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Director to join our team at Integrated Resources, Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our pharmacy initiatives and ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve pharmacy services and outcomes for our clients.
- Collaborate with our clinical pharmacists to review and implement clinical/financial recommendations and strategies.
- Monitor and analyze pharmacy trends to identify opportunities for process, product, and program improvement.
- Support our medical management goals by serving as a point person for pharmacy-related clinical program initiatives.
- Represent our organization on the plan's Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) Committee and participate in pharmacy-related meetings and committees.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes in the pharmacy industry and evaluate their impact on our pharmacy contracts and services.
- Provide education and training to our providers on applicable processes and procedures.
- Develop strategies with our Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) partners to improve HEDIS ratings and other quality measures.
- Participate in onsite visits to hospital systems, physician group practices, and pharmacies.
- Act as the main point of contact for physicians and plan staff experiencing problems with the pharmacy program.
- Support our Fraud and Abuse program system oversight and communicate any suspected fraud to our Compliance team.
- Provide on-site consultation and education to nurses, case managers, and/or physicians.
- Coordinate with our Compliance team on key operational and medication management issues.
- Develop/build relationships with local behavioral health providers, Perform Care staff, and clients to improve the delivery of healthcare programs.
- Create and support an environment that fosters teamwork, cooperation, respect, and diversity.
- PharmD or RPh degree, licensed in DC, and locally based.
- 3 to 5 years of clinical pharmacy experience in a managed care setting.
