Role Summary and Responsibilities

The Pulmonary Care Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating with medical professionals, the RN will provide both pre-operative and post-operative nursing support, advocating for patients to ensure an exceptional healthcare experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes.
  • Carry out procedures as directed by medical staff.
  • Document care provided in the patient's medical record accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment pertinent to cardiac and medical-surgical care.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Registered Nurse licensure within 30 days of employment.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

This position requires full vaccination against COVID-19 in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, unless an exemption is approved.
