Role Summary and ResponsibilitiesThe Pulmonary Care Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating with medical professionals, the RN will provide both pre-operative and post-operative nursing support, advocating for patients to ensure an exceptional healthcare experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes.
- Carry out procedures as directed by medical staff.
- Document care provided in the patient's medical record accurately and in a timely manner.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment pertinent to cardiac and medical-surgical care.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- Registered Nurse licensure within 30 days of employment.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
