Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Unit nurse to join our team at Cross Country Nurses. This 13-week travel nursing assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in Tallahassee, Florida, and provide top-notch care to critically ill children.
Job DescriptionThe Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) nurse will be responsible for the care of children with complex medical conditions, working closely with the healthcare team to develop individualized treatment plans. With a strong focus on patient safety and outcomes, this role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in high-pressure situations.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recent acute care experience in pediatrics, as well as an active RN license. A strong understanding of pediatric pharmacology, respiratory support, and cardiovascular systems is essential for success in this role.
