Position Overview
This position entails providing direct clinical care to patients. The individual will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical services to assigned patients on a per-shift basis, along with unit-level responsibilities. The role includes supervising staff to whom appropriate care is delegated. The incumbent will be accountable for supporting the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) in ensuring high-quality, safe, and suitable nursing care, maintaining the competency of clinical staff, and managing resources effectively in relation to patient care.

Essential Skills
The candidate must possess effective interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to serve as a role model and advocate for the nursing profession.

Qualifications

  • Education
    Required: Graduation from a state-approved or accredited nursing school.
    Preferred: An academic degree in nursing (bachelor's or master's).
  • Certifications
    Required: Current licensure, certification, or registration to practice as mandated by law or state regulations; CPR certification.
