Compensation
The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Job Description
As an advanced surgical nurse specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your duties will include performing scrub functions, handling instruments and supplies, circulating patient care, and assisting physicians with surgical tasks. You will also prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment for use.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a registered nurse license from the Kansas Board of Nursing and one or more of the following certifications: Advanced Life Support within 6 months or Basic Life Support within 1 month of hire date. A diploma from an accredited school of nursing or required professional licensure at the time of hire is also necessary. Experience as an OR nurse is preferred but not required.
