Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Impact Talent Solutions. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify physician orders and procedures to ensure accuracy
  • Use radiology information systems to facilitate care
  • Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding
  • Operate MRI equipment to complete imaging procedures according to protocol
  • Review patient images before transmission to ensure diagnostic quality standards
  • Perform quality control procedures and notification/remediation as warranted
  • Assist in facilitating departmental operations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of supervised MRI clinical scanning experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • ARRT registered or unlimited state license
  • OR certification in another clinical imaging field with an associate degree or bachelor's degree in allied health
  • OR ARRT, ARMRIT, or CAMRT registered as an MR technologist with no experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced certification in MRI from an organization recognized by the ACR Registry
  • Knowledge of MRI procedures and technical language
  • Ability to work with and maintain strict confidentiality
  • Ability to work flexible schedules and travel throughout and between facilities
Physical and Environmental Demands

The physical demands of this role include exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. The incumbent works in a patient care area, in an area where patients enter, directly with patients, and/or with specimens that could contain communicable diseases.
