Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at University Hospital. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and technical expertise in the field of interventional radiology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and fluoroscopy units, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Assist radiologists and other medical professionals during interventional procedures, such as biopsies and vascular interventions.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them for optimal imaging.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any emergencies that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history and imaging results.
Requirements
  • Current certification in ACLS and BLS.
  • 2+ years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in interventional radiology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other medical professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a hospital setting, with frequent exposure to radiation and potentially hazardous materials. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced setting.
