Structural Maintenance Technician Needed

STS Technical Services is hiring a Structural Maintenance Technician to work on commercial aircraft in Bridgeport, West Virginia. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely completion of maintenance tasks while adhering to company policies and procedures.

About the Role
The Structural Maintenance Technician will work closely with our experienced team to perform various tasks, including fabricating and modifying structural modifications on aircraft parts, removing and installing aircraft components, and assisting with mechanical and electrical removals and installations. You will also be required to operate ground support equipment and assist with aircraft component repair as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate and modify structural modifications on aircraft parts
  • Remove and install aircraft components
  • Assist with mechanical and electrical removals and installations
  • Operate ground support equipment
  • Assist with aircraft component repair

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of structural sheet metal repair/modification experience or substantiated similar experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of corporate/commercial jet experience
  • A&P license OR "A" license is preferred
  • Able to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal & written) aircraft status
  • Owning tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory & control of tools
  • Comfortable with shift work (12 hours shifts, overnights, weekends, holidays), including nonscheduled overtime

Estimated Salary:$65,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience

Benefits:
