Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Coffee Connoisseur to join our team at Brookshire Grocery Company. As a Coffee Connoisseur, you will be responsible for preparing, brewing, and serving high-quality coffee and related products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Control and Food Safety: Adhere to quality control and food safety standards by stocking and rotating coffee and related goods.
  • Beverage Preparation: Prepare, brew, and serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, and teas, by following recipes and preparation techniques.
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly and customer-service-oriented attitude by greeting customers, answering questions, and taking orders.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain stock levels and product quality by monitoring dates, appearance, and storage temperature controls.
  • Teamwork: Work well with fellow partners and promote a team environment.

Requirements

  • Age: Minimum of 18 years of age required.
  • Experience: Six or more months of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education required.
  • Certification: Food Handler certification required.

Work Environment

  • Work Setting: Work is generally performed in a retail store.
  • Physical Demands: Continuously required to use close vision, distance vision, depth perception, or the ability to focus. Frequently required to stand or walk, talk and hear, use hands for reaching, touching, or handling, push, pull, maneuver, or lift objects up to 40 lbs.
